Kinley has arrived!!!!

Kinley has finally arrived. She was born December 16, 2010 at 1:54 pm. She weighed 9.0 lbs and was 21 3/4 inches long. She looks a lot like Kaytlin looked when Kaytlin was born, except she has a head full of dark hair instead of red hair. She is a beautiful blessing from God and we are so thankful. Kaytlin is loving her baby sister and wants to hold her all the time. Thanks to everyone for your prayers during the past 9 months. We are truly blessed. Enjoy the few pics we have gotten so far!!!

Tomorrow is the day!!!!

Well the day will finally arrive tomorrow. Tomorrow morning we are going into the hospital at 5:30 a.m. for Kinley's arrival. This has been a long time coming now and we are very excited. Kaytlin is extremely excited to be having a baby sister. She continues to inform us that she is going to hold Kinley first!!! We appreciate everyone's prayers through this journey. We will update everyone with pictures once we get back from the hospital and back up on our feet.

In Christ,

Christmas Parade and Santa!!!

We took Kaytlin to the Christmas Parade here in town this past weekend. Her favorite parts were definitely the bands and all the lights on the floats. It was a good night to get to spend with Kaytlin and see her watch in amazement. It was also one of the last nights we will have with Kaytlin before Kinley arrives. She will be arriving any day now and we are getting excited. Kaytlin is really excited and keeps telling us that she already loves her baby sister. She is going to be a great big sister!!!! Here are some pics from the parade and her visit with Santa...

Fall Harvest 2010

So we are getting a little better. Two posts in two days!!!! Kaytlin was Cinderella for Fall Harvest this year (or as she says "Cindebrella"!!!!). She had a great time and didn't want to take the dress off at the end of the night. Here are some pictures from the Fall Harvest at our church.

Much Has Happened in 10 Months!!!!

Yes as the title says, we are once again way overdue. A lot has happened since the beginning of the year. Where to start? We found out in April we would be having baby girl #2 which we decided to name Kinley Drew. We have been truly blessed by the Lord with Kaytlin and now Kinley. Kaytlin is very excited about the thought of being a big sister (we'll see how excited she is when Kinley arrives), but for now she is ready for her to come. Kinley is due any day now so we will have an early Christmas present from the Lord.

In September we took Kaytlin on her first trip to Disney World. She had a BLAST!!! We spent two days at the different parks, and another day at the condo relaxing. It was a great trip. Kaytlin loved the princesses and the castle. Here are some pictures of her at the "Happiest Place on Earth"!!!

A lot has happened over the past year and we will catch everyone up in the next couple of weeks. We just enjoyed a great Thanksgiving with family and friends and are looking forward to maybe a good ending to Ole Miss football season tomorrow (probably not but we can at least hope today)!!! At least we will have good company as we watch the game (even if they are MS State fans)!!

Mel, Meredith, Kalee and me in New Orleans for New Years

Excuse how we look but this is the only picture I had of all
of us with K's new swingset!

K at her birthday party with her owl cake! Loved it!

Wow... I haven't blogged since November. Our lives have been a whirlwind. We had K's birthday then Thanksgiving... then we finally moved... then parties and Christmas... then New Years then sickness. So it's been wild. But so glad to finally be posting again and hope to do better this year at keeping it up! Kaytlin is keeping us busy for sure, but she is so much fun. She is talking like crazy. I am gonna try to get a video posted of her singing. That is her new favorite thing to do all the time. Her favorites are Jesus Loves Me, The ABC's, Deep and Wide, Jesus loves the little Children, but there are alot of songs she likes to sing for sure. I love hearing her sing about Jesus. It's so precious. I want her to always love to sing about Jesus. We moved in our house December 5 and we were so glad to finally live in our new home. We have been so very blessed to be able to have such a great home, and we thank the Lord so much for blessing us. Christmas was so much fun this year. K was all into it this year. She loved all her gifts... especially her bicycle and her swingset. Santa worked LONG AND HARD on that swingset. It took him many hours. But he told us it was all worth it to see how much she loved it. :) Then on New Years Eve Drew and I got sick and both had to get shots, then we headed off to New Orleans to spend the weekend with some of our college friends and their kiddos. It was so much fun to get to hang out and catch up. Then I actually never really got better. Had to go back to dr again and get more shots and more meds. But I think I'm finally better now. It was so frustrating. Just the crud, but just wouldn't let go. Tomorrow is my birthday!!! The big 29! I think I'll hold on to that number for a while. haha. Drew is taking me to Shapley's tonight for a date then we'll celebrate with all the family tomorrow. Posting a few pics over the last couple of months. Still gotta figure out how to do a slideshow. Just gotta find the time to sit down and do it. Hope y'all have had a great start to the New Year!!!
